Richie Fahey is one of my favorite noir style artists. The models look superb, though it's the direction that is key to making them look superb. I want to meet the guy someday and say good job with a hand shake and a check for an original piece, though that will not happen anytime soon.
I first saw his art on the covers of the rerelease of the James Bond novels I've been reading.

I like this one a lot. Great composition and lighting, and I love the depth of field; the lady is sharp and the man is just far enough out of focus that you could easily mistake his wine glass for a gun. Probably something I would be trying if I were still a photographer. . . . I need a new camera!

I've listened to all 4 of her albums. I always called her "Appalachian folk" in style (even though shes from CA). Not for everyone, but I do love her style. I can listen to her song "Cosmia" over and over again.
