You can see my daughter's shrinky dinks and makit' bakit' stuff on the table, too! You can see the natural Montecristis on the top on some photos.

First is a center dent, typical Cuenca. Left is brisa, right is fine llano.

Next is Finga, fine llano left, brisa right.

Next is Mouse River, brisa left, fino llano right.

Fine Llano with the blue polka dot. That would be the exact montecristi that I lust after every time I see Seabiscuit

(It's Jeff Bridges' friends' spanish contact who walks with them when Jeff sees Chris Cooper in the field in Mexico.

I got the image from a post about the ladies hat. Good memory I think.

Those are some very nice looking hats. Question; how are the hats whitened? Is there a color added or are the fibers bleached?

Hi, Robert. :)

Hmm, the "fine llano" does indeed look fine. :) I love the "Finga" block.

Do you know yet what price you're going to be selling these for?

And, now you've had the chance to play with them a bit more, how do you think they compare to equivalently priced Montecristi hats? (Not just in terms of immediately perceived quality, but also things like hat lifespan and ability to be periodically reblocked, if that's something you've been able to check).

What sort of weave count do they have?

The hats are oxygenated in wet vats. No color added here. There are literally about 100 colors that you could choose from. We'll have some browns up soon.
