Size 42 (would suit from a 40-42" chest) made by the Premium Japanese vintage flight jacket company, Buzz Rickson. Very hard to get these outside of Japan, and this one is a real beauty, often mistaken for an original (I have an original now, and I can tell you these guys come up with the goods for authenticity!).
Looks as good with a Gatsby as it does with a 40-mission crusher, this RoughWear Company repro has the most authentic cotton sateen shell, that has lightened over the couple of years I have had it, to make it even more 'original' looking. An original 8th AAF patch on the shoulder opposite the generic USAAF screenprint on the other shoulder.
Knits are in excellent condition, as is the lovely 'vintage rust' coloured mouton collar! All finished with a nice vintage NOS Conmatic zipper.
If you want only ONE vintage cloth flying jacket, this is 'the one!' I can tell you, this will turn heads with its classic/vintage good looks.
If I hadn't recently come into getting a mint original, then there's no way this baby would be flying away from Paddy's Hanger! Believe me!!
