Hi Fedora
Up for grabs is a stunning example of the iconic USN G-1 Bomber Jacket and this contract has an extra coolness added. Why is that so? John F. Kennedys G-1 wore a Ralph Edwards in the exact same contract, the exact same production year and even in the exact same size; size 44.
JFKs jacket was sold during an auction and fetched a price at $ 570 000 which probably makes it the most expensive leather jacket ever sold. Mine is better and I’m only asking a fraction of the price that JFKs sold for.
Well, now to my jacket. The jacket is in a really good condition, knits as well, everything works as intended and the mouton collar has faded beautifully. The blackened Conmar zipper runs perfectly and there’s no wear/splitting at the end of the zippers. Overall, in great condition with plenty of wear for decades to come.
Another cool detail? The jacket has the call sign of the pilot sewn in the lining of the jacket. Shockey! Well, here’s some pictures:
Measurements
Shoulders: 50 cm (20 inches)
Chest: 60 cm (24 inches)
Sleeves without cuff (measured from end of shoulder seam): 58 cm (23 inches)
Sleeves incl. cuff (measured from end shoulder seam): 65 cm (25.5 inches)
Total length (measured from end of collar): 66 cm (26 inches)
Price: 950 EUR, with worldwide shipping included. The jacket will be shipped within 24 h.
No trades, Pay-Pal is preferred. I have plenty of references from earlier sales.
Please feel free to ask any question. More pictures can of course be provided, just drop me a message.
