Bought this Borsalino Rollable hoping I could put some work into it and wear it. Without getting into much detail, I received a work offer that's going to demand every minute of my life until December 22nd and having the hat in my house would be a great temptation. I'd rather pass it onto someone here.
The sweatband of this hat was dry rotten, I folded it and turned into dust: problem # 1 easily solved by sewing a new one.
It has a couple of moth trails, not holes in the brim (1 under) that could possible be sanded even.
here are some pictures. It is marked as a 4 punti but it was a generous one, more like a 41/2 (7 USA) You could totally block it into a 7 1/8 (that was my plan) or even a 7 1/4 if you change the ribbon, which BTW is in good condition. (I could send you also the original sweat, though be advised it looks like a saltine cracker!)
