I got this vintage halfbelt a few weeks ago but unfortunately it’s a bit too big for me.
It’s a fairly straightforward halfbelt but while I’m not an expert I can tell this is quality. A very fine jacket. Beautiful collar.
Leather condition 8/10. Midweight horsehide. I think it’s a shame this type of leather can’t be replicated. A nice patina, grain varies between panels, no major concerns for me.
Lining condition 5/10. It’s reasonably clean but it has some amateur repairs at the neck cuffs and armpits. It’s a rayon type material.
Zippers as smooth as any other repro jacket I’ve handled.
The stitching is really tight if that matters to you.
The cuffs have only one of the decorative buttons each.
Fits like a 40 in my opinion but please refer to measurements.
