I got to drive my Aunts 65 HiPo for one glorias summer after I graduated. She offered to sell it to my for $500, but it would have cost $50 to fix the transmission, so I wisely turned it down! Those were the days. I always liked the Falcon speedometer better then the later round jobs.My 65 Mustang:
How easy is it to find body parts for the 51 back there?I bought two vehicles today. I got this 1951 Ford F-6 Dump Truck. I'm thinking perhaps of putting a fuel-injected engine, and an overdrive trans in it, restoring the interior, fixing the rust on the body. Beyond that, I'd just like to clean it up, clear coat it to preserve the patina and have a neat mix of old and new.
Also bought this '91 GMC with my friend. I'm taking the engine/trans/computer to go in the '51, and he is parting out what's left of it and taking the rest to the scrapyard.

before the creeper smashed into it
the one in the movie is a 1941 I believe
thats nice though . If he would come down a few grand i would buy it and restore it .

had a new 8 cylinder automatic installed and was used for all the chase scenes . The first two are in private collections . Truck 3 I have heard
is being used in part 3 but that is unconfirmed. The first original or truck one was sold on Ebay for 4500.00 . I would have bought it if i had known
