[Two Types]

Back again:

This doesn't have a label. It feels like a Tootal, but there is no evidence of stitching where the label would have been. And I know that Tootal did a number of horse designs in a similar colour.

And here are two more. Typical variants on the paisley pattern:

Today I have a couple of non-Tootal scarves:

This is a 'Sammy':

And this is a wool backed 'Duggie' scarf in a rather distinctive pattern:

Love the green one, TT! Is that green, lined with red? Unusual colour combination.

That's right - green with a red backing. It's the perfect colour combination for a scarf.

Another Tootal. Slightly later than most of the others, i think. It doesn't have the usual tassels, instead it has a frayed end:

I've been looking for a white dress scarf by Tootal for ages. There have been loads of them on Ebay recently but all at silly prices. Then this one turned up very cheap:

I like this one simply becuase it has a very unusual take on the paisley pattern:

There never seems to be enough blue Tootal scarves, so I was pleased to find this one (even though the pattern is uninspiring):

As impressive as ever, Two Types. Scarf finds have dried up here due to the summer weather, I expect. Looking forward to new finds in the fall.

This is a wartime ladies scarf. However, I adore the design and sometimes wear it as a scarf or as a pocket handkerchief.

It was a very lucky find from 'Station 109' an antiques/vintage/bits'n'bobs shop in Rushden, Northants.
