Ok I looked for this and couldn't find it so I apologize if it already exists. I recently discovered the world of match box holders. I just bought my first one and find it to be a great deal of fun. So please, share yours!

Don't be discouraged my friend, I don't think neccessary to delete your post. Soon or later someone with your same type of collection will appear and appreciate your post.

I do not collect matches by myself but I have a huge collection of vintage match boxes (full of matches) inherited some time ago.

I don't have a collection, but I do often carry this British sterling silver match safe. Its hallmarks show it to be made in Chester in 1910. I have a helluva time finding strike-anywhere matches, though.

I got this off E-bay a few days ago. What drew me to it was that I remember some of these later Zephyr trains going by our house outside of Chicago in the early 60's (pre-Amtrak). Now if I could just find some small (1 & 11/16" x 1 & 1/8" match boxes)

I think match-cases/match-safes/vesta-cases are among the coolest antique/vintage trinkets in the world. And I can see why people collect them. One day if I can find one I like, I may buy one. So far, nothing I've seen has really impressed me. Also, they're not that practical with modern safety-matches.
