Mine are all too... unwobbled for a good looking wobbly hat. Even my really old beat up ones. And I thought I abused hats.

I think the narrow binding ads to this hats... wobble. If it were wider, the binding would have kept it a little more uniform and if it weren't there at all you'd probably see creases leading to the edge.

My Scala boater classifies as my drooper. Try as I might, I can't get the brim to sit straight. Now it looks like a boater/panama hybrid.

My Stetson Sovereign has a stingy wobbly brim. Someday I'll take some steam to it and straighten it out. I like the casual informal look it has now.

Ernest, I've never seen a Scala boater with a straight brim, not once. Ever tried ironing it on a flat surface with a steam iron? Just put a handkerchief or dishcloth in between to keep from scorching it.

I'll give that a try. My iron has a pretty good steam setting.
