Agreed with what Fading Fast said, this photo is a prime example of quality 1940's tailoring. Too many 40's examples I see on the internet depict suits that are too flat, blocky, don't flatter the wearer's body... this gentleman's suit is timeless and fits him well.Fashionable young man in a hurry, 1940’s suit double breasted pants jacket
I'd agree with you, if the average guy knew how to recognise good tailoring.I'm glad this thread exists, so I can demonstrate to people that golden era tailoring was no joke.
