Ok, I need a suggestion here..
I bought this a while back
http://www.onthefly.com/product/kir...isons-hanger-project-mortimer-shoe-horn/25950
It was beautiful and worked well. That is until this week I didn't pull the laces out enough on some boots, and tried to use the horn to "pry" my foot in... crack.
So now I need a new shoe-horn, but I can't see spending $45 (I think it was $25 when I bought it?), and while I know the prying thing was a dumb idea I'm thinking maybe something other than genuine horn would be preferable. Of course I don't want plastic either, and I don't think wood would be any better than horn. So basically down to metal.
Can anyone recommend a high-quality, nice looking shoe horn at a reasonable (i.e. less than $45) price? I checked Amazon, but always a bit of an unknown quality ordering from there if I don't know a specific brand.
A shoe horn is a bit utilitarian to care about too much, but then I'm picky about stuff... [huh]
