Wonderful! A great reminder of how much the film industry had matured in its techniques by the 1920's. By 1929, they really had it down.

This looks like the 2 color process. Quite tantalizing, since you really don't see any yellows or blues. Yet even this partial color lends a great feeling of "realness" to the images.

I was looking at the comments and this one by silvertonguebrat speaks for me.

This took my breath away! It was like I was one of the few who first witness the dawning of an era. The era of being pure, honest and wholesome. The women back in the '20s were just as lovely as we claim today's women. Graceful, elegant, feminine and confident of who they were, unlike the angry, androgynous-looking young women today.

I really prefer the pure, honest, and wholesome look of women.
