Saving Mr Banks ?

I saw a trailer in a store yesterday for the Tom Hank's film 'Saving Mr Banks'.

It is about the making of the film 'Mary Poppins' and the relationship between Walt Disney and author P.L. Travers.

I'm not sure of the release date, however down under, films are often released muuuch later than in the US.

Does it portray P.L. Travers as an Englishwoman or an Australian?

Has it been released there and can anyone report?

Movie comes out in the states in December 20th. Australia on the 26th of December.
