Well, the season for spring flowers is over here in the northeatsern US, and now the various fruits are ripening. Wimbledon means strawberries, and I don't mean those huge cellulose things in the supermarket, I mean red ripe local in-season strawberries. Soon peaches and cherries will be abundant.
Mt favorite place to get these things is at an old fashioned roadside stand along a country road. Sometimes there's a friendly face taking the money, sometimes they use the honor system. Leave your money and take the produce. Yes, they still exist here and there!
