Hi,

I'm not sure which section I should post this, but I just wanted everybody know that if you ever go to Palm Springs than you should stay at this hotel. It is amazing! I just wanted to put the word out because the owner might have to foreclose. He did an amazing job restoring it and it is so nice and relaxing. The perfect getaway! I went for 3 days this past weekend and I felt at home there. Here is the link if you want to take a look:

Wow, that really looks like a superb job that they did.

It would be such a huge shame if he gets foreclosed, I mean the guy must have put his heart and soul into it.

I especially love the 1950s yellow taxi tastefully displayed in the background of one of the photos.

I'm in love. Actually I love sneaking peeks at the landscaping as well. Plans to hit the BF yard and need some inspiration. Lovely.

I've heard about this place... some friends of mine told me about it once and they stay there any chance they get... and I think they also mentioned that there is a store you can buy 50s/60s goods as well.

My self, I'm not crazy for mid-Century styles, but, when someone takes that much time and money to make a dream come true, I applaud that effort and appreciate it for what it is!

Love to see a 20s or 30s Hotel restored to it's original grandeur with a door man out front and bell hops to match!

That was my first time to Palm springs and I absolutely loved it. Wouldn't mind moving there. Wish it had a train system so I could commute to my job in Santa Monica everyday. I'm definitely planning on going back every couple of months and stay at the horizon. the beds are totally comfy and the sheets are amazing. Dave did a great job...the grounds are very nice...grass / palm tress / mountain views.......oh, i miss being there!
