The wetter climate I face during my exile in New Jersey means my first hat, a wool Stetson, will no longer cut it. Since my initiation into this world with the Stetson, I've picked up Carbon Grey and Dark Brown Federation IVs for my city wear (with trench coat, tie, etc); as I've been very pleased with their performance, I'd like to go with another Akubra.
I am aiming for something resembling a fedora (that could go with a coat/tie) but with a bit of a Western flair as befits a proud Arizonan. I liked the Morgan (after a ribbon conversion) for this: a wide but not huge (3.25 in) brim, without the sharp snap up brim of a conventional "cowboy hat." (I'd also prefer no vent holes for this reason).
Suggestions as to what would be an Akubra equivalent to my Stetson? I toyed with the Wentworth but don't like the high ventholes. My current lean is toward a Dark Fawn Kiandra. I would flatten its brim, which is the same size as my Stetson, put on a thick grosgrain ribbon (covering bottom venthole), and may or may not try to reshape the crease.

Thoughts on feasibility or equivalence? Alternatives? Also, for those who have "Dark Fawn" Akubras, how does that compare to their Dark Browns, say their Federation? In some pictures it looks like the Federation itself, and in some it looks like the chocolate ribbon.
