Rayon Linings and zippers

When did rayon linings become common? Foe example the salmon color like in a Gordon and Furgison M422a. What would the earliest date be that you would have seen them, are we talking 1940s, or even 1930s or 20s?

Also for zippers on leather jackets, when did they start becoming popular 1930s?

According to their history, Schott put the first zipper on a leather jacket in 1928. I think that's ANY leather jacket, not just motorcycle/cross-zip jackets.

Yeah we all know Schott loves to brag about some dubious claims but it’s generally accepted that this one is a true fact. Is it possible someone put a zip on a jacket before them, absolutely. But I believe they at bare minimum made it a regular thing and part of their official design.

I believe the rayon lining began in the 40s.
