A very well made B-15C MOD by Ray Kwok, a Chinese brand based in Guangzhou City. The Riri zipper is probably the detail that most caught my eyes. it reminds me of vintage Crown spring zippers. And the rarely seen protective cover on the male side bottom. I still remember The 90s heavy weight horsehide Vanson Enfield I used to own has a Riri zipper with a similar feature. And, the zipper cloth never tear. BTW, the patches shown in the last photos are not part of the jacket

Detailed Specifications:
- DuPont CORDURA® 5.6oz Nylon 66 (USA)
- 24oz Double-Faced Pure Wool Fleece
- Nylon Lining (China)
- Shinki Horsehide Leather (Japan)
- Seamless Merino Wool Ribbing (Australia)
- Custom-Developed Ray Kwok Logo Vintage RIRI Zipper (Switzerland)
- DOT Snap Fasteners (USA)
- COATS "Epic" Professional Sewing Thread (UK)

I had posted some Ray Kwok items on Classified. Quite some people expressed their interest in this brands. I reckon Maybe I can share something in Outerwear and Workwear section. Great products with more affordable pricing.

I would like to make a full disclosure here. I started an online business this year featuring Ray Kwok's products. The post here is information-sharing purpose, not trying to sell anything. Ray Kwok is a literally never heard of brand outside of Mainland China. But, Its high quality and committed craftsmanship deserves to be known. in American heritage style menswear( or Amekaji in Japanese term) I strongly believe we're now in an era where top of the line products are no longer confined to Japanese brands. When I say Ray Kwok is the level of Real McCoy, Buzz Ricksons or the likes, I mean it in terms of how well it's made and the materials are used, not just the look or feel of it, those subjective feelings.

Taobao(Alibaba's E-commerce platform in domestic China) is not viewable without a registered account, That's the main reason why westerners cannot get access to Ray Kwok information, also other Chinese brands for that matter. That's also the main reason why Bronson, arguably the most known brand among Western countries, launched an English website. I understand many people would naturally wants to know more about the brand's products. Those interested can go to my Yahoo Auction online store(Taiwan) and eBay store. However, my eBay store has only a few listings as of now due to restrictions on newly established seller account.

I would strongly advise you to change the label of the jacket to a specification label as per originals/ repro's.

Maybe then you should contact the mods and get a "vendor" status.

Note the small holes in the metal plates at both sides of bottom of zipper. I wonder if they were intended for some sort of rivet fasteners to strengthen the zipper's attachment to the fabric at those (4) points?

If so, perhaps zipper mfr (RIRI) could supply the rivets and necessary setting tools.

If not intended for rivets, but rather stitching, I suggest taking several turns of appropriate bonded polycotton thread through the holes. This will strengthen the bottom of the zipper and ****** wear at those points.

Hey, Raf,
I'm sorry for responding this late.
as I was temporarily restricted the access to FL Forum for a week because the Bartender determined this post is not compliant to the forum's policy.
No. I don't think the holes are for rivets. I saw more than once this type of Riri zipper on different jackets. The zippers are all not riveted.
