Hello,
I recently came across a cache of clips from early sound movies. Almost all of the clips showcase the style and fashion of the late 1920's and early 1930's. Many are Art Deco in syle and some use Two-Color Technicolor, a color filming method in use at the time.

Most of these films have never been released in any format since the 1930's and are very rare.

Very cool. I've seen a lot of early talkies but I'd never heard John Gilbert's voice before, now I can see why he washed out. He was a HUGE star before talkies.

It used to be Detroit....
Thankee!

I've been watching this fella's clips for ages, but the two-colour potpourri is news to me... and then there's the stooges... in colour!

Man, I love that red and turquoise look.
