Duffel Coat - 1940 - British Royal Navy

This is a Size One RN coat which are surprisingly hard to find now (most are HUGE).

Would ideally suit a modern chest size of 40" to 44". Early wartime model by Redmans with brass fasteners to side of hood (which later wartime versions don't have).

This is the 'rarer' early war model and 'not' the later mid to late war models that one can find.

Adopted by WWII British Special Forces in the North African Desert (SAS/LRDG). Very strong original condition - ALL parts including wooden toggles are original to the jacket.

A few moth nips but hardly noticeable. Some light paint splashes, easily removed, which I have now done with most.

A Very warm, functional, classic vintage design for the Brit Royal Navy, which will emit envy from others who see it (it truely is a wonderful vintage, wearable and pracitcal historicial item.

Didn't know if questions about purchase were best left to PM's or email. Many forums don't like this type of commentary in the classified sections. I see what appears to be some moth nicks on the left breast. Any others? How is the back of the coat? Finally, wanted to ask about shipping costs to California and preferred payment methods.
