Question on vintage Dress

Hi Ladies,

Hope you don't mind me in the Powder Room for a moment.

I have a question on a 50's dress.

I didn't get the name but can. This Black Dress is covered entirely in sequins flat and tubular and has a very nice design. It is very clean and like new. They were asking a hundred dollars for it [size 12]. We bought a few other items for the house and the woman told my wife if she wants the dress she could have it for 45 dollars.

My curiosity is that it was made in China; and I was wondering if dresses from that era did come from China and if they are worth the money. Would this item be worth the 45 dollar asking price? Just curious.

Thanks,

Tim

Yes, buy it if it is from last week. You say it is a nice design. $45.00 for a sequin dress is a good price.

Cheongsam or Mandarin. Check out these names on Google. Sounds like one.
Yes, they made dresses in China in the 1950s.
