I've aquired a cap that reminds me of the one my grandfather wore all the time. HE called it his 'train cap'. I grew up(54 years now) thinking that was what they were called. He called it that, because he wore it to work all the time (worked for CN trains in Canada).
Now that I've been frequenting the boards and reading about all of your wonderful hats, I'm not sure what to call this. It has a flat top, snap brim, texon non-breakable visor, leather forehead band.
