it says there in the section on email addresses:




If you have an e-mail address from your ISP (e.g. Comcast, Earthlink, Mindspring, etc), or from work, please register with that e-mail address. Don't worry about spam; we won't give your address to anyone. If you already applied with a free e-mail address, your account will be automaticaly deleted so that you can start over, but don't be discouraged. If you love the Golden Era of the 1930s-40s, The Fedora Lounge is worth the effort. Thank you for understanding.

No, and I've never had any concerns since joining.

When you reach 15 posts you can send and get PMs (internal private messages). If you want you can have a setting so that you are emailed to say you have received a PM.

Welcome, by the way. How did you come across this place?
