This one isn't mine, unfortunately. My dad told me to find him a light colored vintage cowboy hat for under 30 bucks, and this is what I came up with for him. He's actually amassing quite a nice little collection of ones he either appropriates or gets me to buy for him. I wish he'd wear them more.

We both wear the same size, so it pains me that I won't be able to wear it. Not that I need another hat, but, you know how it is.

The felt's quite stiff, much like modern cowboy hat felt.

He's pretty camera shy (he is a photographer, after all), but I'll try to snap a shot of him wearing it tomorrow when we go out.

Nice hats gentlemn. I have a Portis Supreme in dark brown with a 5" Crown, 1 5/8' Brim, and a 2" black grosgrain ribbon. Unfortunately, it's a 7 1/4 and I wear a 7 5/8. I'm still looking for one my size.
