Pomade suggestion

Hi! I am in desperate need of a new pomade to tame my long frizzy hair. I had been using Layrite but Im almost out and want to try something else. Im really interested in trying a drugstore brand, something that doesnt break the bank but most importantly works well! Do any of you vintage ladies have any suggestions for me?? Any help is very appreciated!

I have the brand "Got2Be". I haven't used it that much recently since I left it at my parent's home. I think it has a strong smell to it that I don't care for much, but it is relatively cheap and I got it at my local CVS. It still did what it was supposed to though.

Even though its mainly all about styling a guys hair into a killer pomp. I found Rebel Rouser's advice very helpful. Next to Layrite Schmiere Pomade is awesome. I've been using the women's brand of Schmiere Pomade off and on for a month, along with layrite pomade, Schmiere Pomade works even better at toning down major hair frizz. Plus I use less hair spray whenever I use Schmiere Pomade. And when I style my hair into victory rolls my hair rolls up quick and easy without any teasing. I adore the smell of Schmiere Pomade too it smells just like strawberry ice cream. A little goes a long way when applying the pomade to your hair. In reading the Rebel Rouser's blog and watching his youtube I finally realized after all this time I've been using pomade wrong. Now I have the know how to using pomade the right way. I will say the only bad thing about Schmiere Pomade is when water hits the pomade it does flake. I never get that when I use Layrite pomade. Still I like Schmiere more even though I'll end up washing my hair more often then I usually do. Like the Rebel Rouser says not every pomade works the same on every person also where you live will have an effect on the pomade too.
