pin curls, betty bangs, and vintage hair!!!

Hi folks,

This is my first post here!! So hi to all!

I wear my hair long and curly with betty bangs. recently Ive been experimenting with vintage styles and was hoping to get some advice on how to work with and around short bangs.

Also, Ive been trying to find a really god pin curl tutorial video and am finding it kinda hard.

Look a this thread, lots of good pin curl advice there.

You could pin curl your short bangs into a C-shape to give them more of a soft look, like I did here.

I find it helpful to use these silver clips when doing it. My bangs right now are a bit longer than yours, but I've had them shorter, and it's possible anyway, just a bit more difficult.

As long as your bangs aren't dead straight, they'll look fine with 30's and 40's hair. The straight bangs look hot for 20's do's though. So you can just use a curling thong or curlers (or pin curls) to give your bangs a more poofy shape for a 40's look.
