Pharmaceuticals in the Home

I've noticed that pretty much every persons house I visit has a pharmaceutical pill bottle or two on their kitchen tables.

I don't remember seeing them when I was a kid. I remember the orange bottles were just when someone had a bad cold or got hurt.

Now it seems today everyone has them.

Anyone else notice this?

What types of drugs are everyone needing now days?
