I have visited Paris many times and love the vestiges of years gone by, the Hector Guimard metro Stations, Aurouze’s rat trap store. Thanks to the catacombs there are not too many tall buildings to spoil the skyline. Unlike London where King £££ rules over any architectural inheritance.
Paris has hardly changed, those scenes in the photo's look much the same today, though I do wish i had seen Les Halles in all it's glory
