Panama, with ribbon by Deanglen

I've had this had for about a month now, but am just now getting around to posting on it. The hat came ot me courtesy of Nick Charles. It came with the standard wide ribbon, which I wasn't crazy about. I have some nice copper colored ribbon that I tried, but I couldn't get it quite right. In desperation I tried the sample ribbon Dean had sent me to show me how the bow was tied on old campaign hats. I liked it so much it is there for good, now!

Much appreciate the comments on the bow, and glad Mojave likes it. Look carefully though and you will detect that it is not exactly symmetrical; amateur at work.

Sharp looking lid, Jack. Yes, I like Dean's bows too! I like the different look they add to a hat. Makes it more unique.
