Packing detachable collars

I'm packing up my suits for a trip, and I realized I don't know what to do with my detachable collars! How does one pack such a thing? It's been ironed to have a bit of a curve, so storing it flat seems like it might not be a good idea. Plus, I don't even know what I'd store it in.

Has anyone else had this problem? Advice would be appreciated!

Unless you don't have a leather collar box you can use a round tupperware dish or used plastic marmelade container etc:

Probably the most practical option. For something more vintage, eBay is full of vintage leather collar boxes. I've considered picking one up for storing cufflinks, myself.

Sure Edward, but for a once off occasion a plastic container is the best.

I also recommend a leather one if you intend to travel more with the collars.

Oh, aye, for a one-of.... Actually, I use a similar plastic container as a shaving bowl when I'm away - in transit, it also is a handy place to store razor, brush, etc.
