$50 shipped in U.S.

I bought this at an antique store as a nice souvenir from my first Fedora Lounge get-together in Memphis a couple years ago. It was originally sold at a well-respected men's store which has long since closed.

Trouble is it's just a little big on me so I rarely wear it. Inside circumference is 22-1/4". Brim is 2".

It's apparent to me that this was made under private label by Dobbs. It has their Guild Edge brim treatment. Deep, burgundy-ish, purple-ish, oxblood color. Muted, tasteful and understated but could not be confused with brown or grey. The ribbon is charcoal grey. Has a bit of intentional taper as viewed from front. Nice piece.

The second shot (of me wearing it) shows the color a little better. It has more 'red' in it than the first photo conveys. See more pix at link at bottom:

Where did the pics go? Roughly what size would 22 1/4 convert to? Would that be 7 1/8 or 7 1/4 perhaps? Thanks for the info!

Good question. According to this size conversion chart http://www.millerhats.com/hatsize.html 22-1/4" equates to in-between 7 and 7-1/8. I guess I'm used to wearing slightly shrunken vintage hats because most of my 7-1/8s fit more closely than this one. I consider it a loose 7-1/8 among my hats but in any event, it's not 7-1/4".

Gene... that hat does look mighty big on you. And don't take this the wrong way, but your head looks alot like a plastic cup of some sort! :D
