I will be totally honest, I didn't do it by myself. I used a program called Medifast, which is a very low cal and low carb liquid diet, with one regular meal per day. This was just the start, though. Once I had lost about 30lbs, I began a running program. I followed the Couch to 5K training program from www.coolrunnings.com. The real key to this program is the podcast ( http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/ ) The guy who does the podcast planned it out with music to go along and tells you when to speed up and when to walk so that you go from total couch potato to running a 5K in 9wks. I currently run 3 miles every other day. That has really kicked the fat loss into overdrive. The last time I wore this size, I was about 10-15lbs lighter. The running is really tightening up my bum and I've really begun to enjoy running.

You look great! And thanks for posting that running site! I have been running again for a few months and have really been thinking about training to do a
5k next year in the spring so I will have to check out that site. Running is not one of my favorite activities but you can't beat it for tightening up the bum! lol

Oh KamiKat, good job, your an inspiration to us all. I've been to that running site before, but had no idea there was a podcast to go with it, I'll have to look it up. I've also see those Medifast commercials, congrats on staying with it. Your success lets me know its possible, I started the whole diet thing last March, lost 15 pounds and have platueaed and stayed there. Thanks so much for posting this KamiKat.
