When Graham Thompson (owner / master hatmaker) at Optimo designed this hat he had the young working professional in mind, someone bent on displaying his own unique look (as there remain so few men who wear high quality hats) more that someone trying to "recreate" the look of the say forties. I can just speak to my own experience but the shorter brim ( which snaps down sharply) and lower crown look, perhaps surprisingly, great! Someone on The Lounge...just my biased opinion...is gonna' get a great hat here. Looks absolutely like new, flecked finish Bavarian Green (their flecked finish contains 3-5 colors) with contrasting Forest Green ribbon in a size 7 3/8. New at Optimo $750. Selling for $295 plus $20 shipping in an Optimo hatbox.
