Optimo on Chicago's Channel 7 News

I looked in the search and didn't see if anyone mentioned this...

Another "hats are coming back" story, but this one has video. Frank Mathie took the Channel 7 news cameras down to Chicago's Optimo and did a stand up report with Graham and crew.

The lovely Tiffani even made an appearance.

The piece ends with the $20,000 Panama!

I am headed there today, myself, to pick up a Stetson I'm having them work on.

It's a nice little report and some free advertising here in Chicago for Graham.

Great piece, it was nice to see the interior of Optimo, although I found myself disagreeing with Tiffany: tall and thin = tall crown, not short crown. But maybe that's just my experience. -M

I was initially a bit surprised by the statement that Optimo make over 3000 hats per annum, until I did some calculating in my head. I am guessing that Graham et al complete perhaps a dozen hats daily...not an unrealistic number.

Thanks for posting this video, MV. We made a pilgrimage to Optimo last fall and were treated like royalty, but Graham and Tiffani weren't there that day. I've never spoken with Graham, but I have Tiffani many times. It's nice to put faces with names.
