Happy new year to all.

Over the Christmas period I have been researching the incredible story of 'Operation Cadillac' - the massive parachute drop in the south west of France on the 14th of July 1944 made by 349 USAAF Flying Fortresses escorted by 524 RAF Spitfires. 3791 containers filled with arms and supplies were dropped weighing in at 417 tonnes in total.
My main source of info has come from numerous books written in French about the Resistance in that area. I have translated these into English in an article I have done for my blog. If anyone is interested in reading it here is a link -

I am now looking for any info on 'Operation Cadillac' from the experience of the Americans and British who were involved, so if anyone could recommend any books or links mentioning the subject I'd be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,

Alain.
