Well actually its two, but the other will be unveiled Friday in Memphis.
I meet with Mike Moore in West Memphis this afternoon for about 2 1\2 hours.
I had on my Peters Brothers Indy straw - Mike had on the first hat he ever made.
This hat is one of only two Moore Lites that will ever be made [the Major said the thin felt was hell to work with]
The other Moore Lite will be worn my Mike in Memphis on Friday.
The stats are as follows:
brim: 2 3\4 inches
crown: 5 1\2 inches [open crown]
color: silverbelly
ribbon: 50 -75 year old vintage blue
weight: 2.7 ounces
I am thinking of naming this hat 'The Memphis Blues' because of the sweet blue ribbon on it. I am also waiting till Memphis to crease it. I will bring this very lite hat to the get together and have everyones input to decied what style crease to put in it.
My photos do not do this hat justice but I will try for better ones in the light tommorrow.
