Christmas Tribute to Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life" on December 22nd at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha
On Sat. Dec 22nd. Bruce Crawford in association with the Dobleman Head and Neck Cancer Institute will present a special Christmas tribute to the Frank Capra masterpiece "Its A Wonderful Life". At the Joslyn Art Museum's Witherspoon Hall theater, 2200 Dodge Street Omaha Ne. at 7pm.
Actress Karolyn Grimes who played Zuzu Bailey, the youngest daughter of George and Mary Bailey in the film, will speak before the screening. Dancers dressed in 1920s era clothing will dance to the Charleston in the museum's Fountain Court and a display of miniatures depicting downtown Bedford Falls will be shown. The Donna Reed Foundation from Denison Iowa will also have a display. Tickets are $20 each and available at Omaha Hy Vee supermarkets customer service counters. Proceeds benefit the Dobleman Head and Neck Cancer Institute.
