A $25 hat in 1946????

That was more than the price of a suit, from what my grandfather used to tell me. He said a good hat in the late 40s and early 50s was less than $5. What hat could have sold for as high as $25 back then?

$19.95 for a suit!
But putting it in perspective the average worker probably only made about 30 bucks a week back then.
