Oh My! Have I Utterly Ruined this Panama Hat?

I cleaned out the back seat of my truck today and found this wonderful Christy's Panama that I bought in Vegas under some luggage! I really liked (notice past tense) this hat. Is it beyond saving? Can one of our gurus here fix it? I paid almost $200 for it. Will it cost more to fix it and is that even possible? I can't believe I did this....First time I have messed up a hat! Probably won't be the last! What is the verdict? Saveable or toss it?

Very much saveable...
I do not have a block but my optimo style panama I just wet it down and pushed out the crown till it was rounded out. Then I rewet and put the optimo shape back in it.
Just wet it enough till the straw is workable.

The best I ever do is old gum wrappers and loose change. Even a bit out of shape, I'd love to start finding hats in my backseat.

First, check to make sure there are no tears in it. If there are, then that's a problem. Tears are reparable, but expensive. Panamabob can do it, but he once quoted me over $100 to fix 5 in a Montecristi, because of the shipping out of country to his weavers. If there are no holes, I imagine one of our hat specialists can repair it by a reblocking. But check with Mr. Fawcett or Optimo or someone to be sure.

Edit--Wow, in the time it took me to reply, there are already a few posts! I guess it is repairable, for sure.

Proof that it is save-able!
Surprised there was no offer to pay shipping. (wrong size, or I would have offered!)
