We're in the same boat (or lack thereof) here outside of Reno. Unfortunately its not going to get any better, as they're now calling for the rain to change over to snow tonight ... 1"-12" by morning. Gee, thanks to the meteorologists for narrowing down that figure and keeping utter panic in the hearts of thousands. :eusa_doh:

I was at the office in Oakland, near the airport until 1:00, then I drove over to the Peninsula and there were flooded streets, downed trees, power outages.

I bought sandbags today, that's a new accessory!

My basement sprang a new leak. Also our backyard storage tent pavilion thing decided it could fly. Much trauma to apple tree.

So I got wet a few times, nothing that Maker's Mark can't fix.

Sacramento lost power early this afternoon - 10,000 people lost power. Here in the Bay Area, it depends on where you live. We lost power for a couple minutes only, but were sure we were going to lose it early in the day.

Don't be worried. They just don't have electricity. I'm sure you will hear a couple of interesting stories when they get service back.
