Here is a nice, 8 piece tweed cap by "Norman Greene Tweed Hat Maker" according to the label on the liner - I am guessing from the cut and the union label, it dates from the 40's or 50's, but a cap expert might have a different take on it. In any case, it is a very nice cap for autumn - a dark brown and bronze Donegal weave with multicolored flecks - small button on top, leather sweatband and rayon or nylon lining. Cap is in very good shape - appears to have been worn little - no holes, stains or wear spots - HOWEVER - it was originally a size 7 3/4 according to the label , and an amateurish job of taking it in has been done - it fits more like a 7 1/4. For this reason, I am asking only $40 shipped in USA. Overseas add $10 for shipping.
