Newbie Question

Modification?

Have you done anything to the hat, such as stretch it up a size? I did that to one of mine and it got a buckle or wave in the brim. Depending on how you wear your brim and where this "wave" is located, you can try placing a towel over the brim and "pressing" the brim with a steam iron. Worked on mine.

On the move again...
Yep, like James said. I had to do the same thing to a Stetson Sutley that I stretched, but with a little massaging I managed to flatten the brim back into a reasonable shape.

Cheers!

If you want to avoid getting that “wave” in the future, snap the brim up before stretching. I have an Akubra Military that needed stretched and if I left the brim down it went all wonky. But if I rolled the brim up it kept the shape better. So all you have to do it snap it down when you are done.
