Greetings, all! Who knew this site was here? Certainly not ME, 'til a casual search for info landed me here. I feel like I've found a new home! I've been wearing hats all my life, and fedoras in partular since I was a teen in the 70's. I DO have a question, though (please advise if I'm in the wrong forum group), if you please. I like the hats Keb Mo wears, and am not quite certain if the hat in the URL I'm inserting is a bowler, or a porkpie. He wears all kinds, of course, but if anyone can figure out what this is, please advise. THANKS! Brian

Welcome to the Lounge. Agreed, it's a porkpie style.
You can steam the crown on a fedora to reshape for the desired effect.

I think its a black modern "straw".
