Hi All,
Jeff here. Fortyish years old, a family-man. I found this lounge after looking for a good leather jacket. I think my Dad's appreciation for vintage things that last has rubbed off on me. I like old guitars, cast iron pans, and wool socks. I'm also a student of history and music. Glad to be here.
Hi All,

...
Glad to be here.
Hello Loungers!
I used to be a member here about ten years ago, and got distracted by real life, kittens, kitkats, and a ball of string... but I accidentally stumbled across the FL again, so I have rejoined! I hope I don't owe any fines on library books here...
I draw comic books, own far too many jackets, and I'm a Londoner who has fled to France, and I am now renovating two little neighbouring shops in St. Étienne to be my home and art studio.
St. Étienne is great for vintage and antiques...so am thoroughly enjoying myself here.
I'll find the right Thread and post pictures of the shop' renovations in progress. They are about 250 years old.... and in need of a lot of TLC!
I hope you are all safe and well in these mad times!
Love from France!
Ruf

My 3 cast iron pans predate my marriage (45 years). My wife and I have a verbal prenup.....in the event of a breakup.....I get the 3 cast iron pans. She can have pretty much whatever else she wants....but I get the iron. I don't think a day goes by that I don't cook something in one of them or for many dinners I have all 3 engaged in some form of cooking.Hi All,

Hi everyone!
I’m Abe Lugo. I love most all things vintage. I thought I had a membership from years ago. But I may have just been just lurking. So here I am.
I’m in Los Angeles near downtown. We managed buy a house. We tried keeping as much original charm as we could. My wife and I have some vintage cars. You may see them in future posts.
I am a Toy Designer. I work on Matchbox cars. I have an affinity for old cars. Most all eras and genres.
I like restoring things (furniture, bicycles, etc.) and putting them back to work.
I’m @abelugo on IG or @matchboxworld for my work.

Hi Loungers!
I’m Melissa Lugo (yes, I married that guy named Abe posting above me) and stumbled across your forums recently when researching mens clothing brands. I work in the fashion industry as a technical designer and pattern maker and I’m frequently comparing how vintage clothing fits against modern brands. I love vintage clothing, but as a dancer also enjoy repops that don’t need frequent mending.
I prefer the aesthetics of vintage furniture, cars, and bicycles; and enjoy bringing these old things back to life.

Nice art! I will have to look through my collection and see if I have any of your work. I have some White Trash and 2000 AD, so who knows.Hello Loungers!
