New hat to me

Hello everyone. This is a new hat to me but is in perfect condition as it was in a time capsule. I am curious about the age of this hat if anyone has any suggestions. Since I think it is a vintage hat that the beaver fur is better quality than modern hats.

Well, while this hat almost certainly fits the commonly accepted definition of "vintage" in being more than 20 years old, many here would consider this a modern hat for all intents and purposes compared to the pre-war vintage hats that are most desirable.

While not a 100% foolproof 'rule', black sweat bands were more common during the 70's.
