To me the body length is perfect. The sleeves could be slightly longer on the model (JC) and still work. So, maybe your fit is 99% which is good enough. BTW I have heard great things about John Chapman And find it somewhat ironic that I am buying from the UK and you, from where I live. :usa2:

John is a very skilled jacket maker and I encourage you to check out his wares in Seattle. If I were in the US and dealing in $ I'd buy from him more often.
Past experience has shown me that I need to lose around an inch from the sleeves of a prototype/test jacket to make them sit right.

I've been communicating with John about a different type of civilian jacket, and can't wait to see the results!
Unfortunately, that's going to be next Fall...The great part is that I know 100% of the jacket will be done by him. He has been terriffic to deal with.
