Hi, I belong to the Fedora Lounge for several years , in my 19s I start wearing hats but with time my passion for this special accesory grow in extremis, after my hatter death (at 86), I start restoring my hats by my self, and a crazy idea start to grow in my mind, the idea of be a professional hatter invade my head.
After many restoration work I decide to make the next step, I bought a fur felt flare, and a 7 1/8 hat mold (my size) and decide to make a hat. The ressult was a deep blue wide brim fedora with tear drop crown, I was amaized, I published some photos here in thefedoralounge and a member sended me an email asking me to make a hat for him, I was thrilled; finally he was very satisfied with my first hat, so I thought perhabs that could be my real work from now on.
This is my last creation, a fur felt fedora, in ligth brown with all the elemnts, ribbon, bow, sweathband and lining, please give me your frank opinion, I really want to be a full time hatter, and plan to start my own bussiness.
