Need Some Help With a Gift

I'm asking for help to try to figure out a gift for someone. My nephew's wife recently texted me a message to offer something to him for a special occasion. He's in his thirties and they have been married for about 5 years. For the past several years he has been very involved in taking care of their two new children and all the other responsibilities of fatherhood in addition to providing a decent income while his wife finished grad school. She's worked very hard at her education and is now moving up in her career in child counseling. They have just relocated to a good place where she will begin teaching at a well known university. So, she wants to make this Father's Day very special for him in appreciation for his efforts and asked me if I could provide something. Apparently there is a big party planned.

OK, just giving money sounds kind of cheesey. Anyone care to offer some ideas?

He sounds like an involved father. Would the gift of a professional photographer to do a family shoot be apropriate? This tends to be expensive, so could you share in this expense with someone (s) else?

Or, for a less expensive gift, if you have some of his favorite family pictures, perhaps a photo gift from one of the online shops? (I've bought and received many gifts from shutterfly.)
