It depends on what you're into. Whenever I go to Nashville, I always go to the Ernest Tubb Record Shop, and the Gruhn Guitar shop. Go walk around downtown, but be careful after dark.
Are you big into Country music? As far as bars/nightclubs, you could also check out the Wild Horse Saloon. If you are able to get tickets, try the Grand Ole Opry. As far as rock, visit the Exit Inn. The Havana Lounge is quite nice, although I have never been there.
Please visit world famous Printer's Alley downtown. Several gentlemen's clubs and bars are located in, literally, a very small alley.
I'll think of more once my brian gets going. Trust me, Nashville is WAY more than Music Row, but Music Row is still great.
Thanks guys, no I'm not into country music but some of my friends are. I guess I'm looking for a good jazz place and any antique stores. We'll be there for about a week and have plenty of time to see alot, so anything is cool.
Michaelson stays out of Nashville as much as possible. That's where our State legislature members hang out, and I may be tempted to run one over should they cross my path. Regards. Michaelson
